The Bigstone Referral Unit in Calling Lake, AB is seeking one (1) Casual Referral Clerk to join our talented Health Team at our Calling Lake, Alberta location. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Answer switchboard
  • Schedule trips out of town and locally
  • MTRS/MTDS data entry on a daily basis
  • Arrange flights
  • Arrange out of town accommodations
  • Arrange out of town taxi/bus services

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Good knowledge of office procedures
  • Be extremely observant to detail and accuracy
  • Must be able to work in a diverse environment with frequent interruptions
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Must be a team player and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Confidentiality is strictly enforced
  • Develop strong relationships and work cooperatively with drivers and clients

Qualification Requirements:

  • Experience with MS Office databases and other related software applications
  • High School Education
  • Two (2) years clerical experience required
  • Must be able to type 35 wpm
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license
  • Must be up to date on all immunizations
  • Must be able to do shift work (days, evenings, weekends, and holidays)
  • Speak and understand the Cree language is an asset
